Michael J. Coman

Michael J. Coman is President and Founder of The Human Resource Group, Inc. Mike has more than twenty-five years of diverse business experience, focused primarily in the Human Resources and Executive Search fields. An accomplished recruiter, trainer and consultant, his strengths reside in the areas of employment, executive search, long range organizational manpower planning and Best Practices interview selection training. Mike is well known for his "World-Class" Executive Search skills and for securing "Transformational A-Player" talent, a hallmark of the HRG practice.

Previously, Mike was the VP of Human Resources for the Alside Corporation, the largest multi-product privately held manufacturer and distributor of home building products in the United States. Prior positions include senior HR assignments with Eaton Corporation, a world leader in defense/aerospace and the electronics and control industries, and The Dexter Corporation, a diverse chemical products firm.

Brenda Snyder

Brenda Snyder is Vice President of Search and OD/OE Consulting Services. Brenda has over 20 years of Human Resource experience in Fortune 200 corporations-Qwest Communications, Honeywell International and Humana Corporation. Brenda held key leadership roles of national and international scope in Strategic Planning, Executive Staffing, Human Resource Management and Organizational Design & Quality.

Brenda has significant experience in recruiting and staffing Executive level positions for organizations known for hiring 'Best-in-Class' leadership talent. She also has a proven track record of assisting business leaders to identify 'High-Potential' individuals who demonstrate significant success in moving organizations to the highest possible levels of performance. Ms. Snyder is a graduate of Regis University in Denver, Colorado with a B.A. degree in Business Management and has completed coursework for her Master's in International Management.

Ron Fini

Ron Fini is Vice President of Search & Research Services. He brings 15 years of Sales and Product Management experience to the Human Resource Group from ABB Elsag Bailey Process Automation. Prior to joining the Human Resource Group, Ron was a Senior Consultant with a retained search firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, where he successfully completed many of the firms most challenging Sales, Marketing and Engineering executive level searches.

Ron has led numerous VP level searches within a variety of industries with prominent manufacturing based clients such as the Danaher Corporation, Halliburton Company, Honeywell and Boeing Corporation. Ron is also a formally educated Mechanical Engineer.

Judy Sabol

Judy Sabol brings an array of experience to her role as Sr. Research Associate. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, and her diverse professional background includes retail merchandising, banking and office management.

Prior to joining The Human Resource Group, Judy was an architectural assistant in a local firm where she was responsible for account management and client communications. Judy has also been very active over the years volunteering in a variety of local school and community organizations.
Debbie Burkhart

Debbie Burkhart brings over ten years of previous experience with a premier information technology recruiting firm to her role of Research Associate. She was responsible for all office/client management and coordination and was "right-hand" to the President of the firm for a number of years. Her experience and talent with research process mechanics consistently yields best-in-class results. Debbie studied Business Administration at Penn State with an emphasis in marketing.

She is also involved in several school organizations and enjoys spending time with her family.

Thomas Clevidence

Thomas Clevidence is Sr. Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Fifth Third Bank. He brings over 25 years of diversified experience in Business, Education and Human Resources to HRG. In his current position, Tom is responsible for all areas of Human Resources, Corporate Facilities and Bank Protection management. Prior to joining Fifth Third in September 2001, Tom served as the Executive Director - Office of the President for Cuyahoga Community College and Senior Managing Director of Human Resources for McDonald Investments. Tom began his career with Ernst and Whinney (Young) and Ameritrust in Senior Employment and Staffing roles.

Tom received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and Master of Education from Kent State University. He later went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. Tom serves as Vice President and Board member for the Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP). In addition, he is Chairman of Special Events for the Executive Cabinet of United Way and serves on several executive boards including United Cerebral Palsy and Cuyahoga County Re-employment Services.

Charles Jurack

Chris Jurack currently oversees sales and marketing activities for OSI Software, Inc., the leading global supplier of software products for managing information in the process manufacturing industry. The flagship product, PI System, remains the premiere real-time information and development environment for both intranet and internet deployment throughout global enterprises. Chris supports business development efforts in the Aviation, Aerospace, Defense and Water Supply/Purification industries, along with business development support in coordination with the Big 5 Consulting firms.

His career in project management and human resources spans over 30 years at companies - ABB-Bailey and Dexter Corporation-Mogul Division. He earned an Executive Masters of Business Administration Degree emphasizing international business. Additionally, he has served as adjunct faculty at Lake Erie College teaching senior-level classes in business policy and international business.

Ann Mansfield

Ann is the founder and owner of Mansfield & Associates, a search/research firm formed in 1987. Ann has over 20 years of experience in research, candidate identification and development. Ann's expertise has crossed a myriad of industries and technologies along with a variety of functional disciplines. Her expertise includes U.S. research as well as international research where she and her staff's multi-lingual skills are utilized.

Ann's experience, vision and innovative approach to research has developed a proven track record of building long-term relationships with recruiters, search firms, and corporate internal HR staffing departments. With a strong commitment to client satisfaction, Ann has successfully helped locate thousands of potential candidates for her customers by providing targeted research and detailed organizational charts. Prior to forming Mansfield & Associates, Ann was the Director of Research & Administration at a Cleveland based executive search firm, Christian & Timbers.

Dr. Andrew Passen

In 2006 Dr. Passen joined Forest City Enterprises, a diversified real estate development firm, as EVP Human Resources. Previously Andy was with O'Brien, Passen & Associates Inc., a leading innovator in developing new corporate perspectives where he assisted clients in redefining, redirecting and realigning their businesses. As a senior partner, he was involved in a wide variety of client engagements, including organizational restructuring, executive teambuilding and leadership assessment/development. A particular area of expertise is Andy's involvement in the integration of acquired companies, where he has assisted management in assessing executive talent and identifying potential problems of "fit" with regard to organizational culture, norms and values.

In addition to process consultation, Andy is a regular presenter at executive retreats and has developed specialized training programs for clients in the areas of mentoring and emotional intelligence. Prior to joining the firm, Andy was a senior consultant with an international practice of organizational psychologists. He is a licensed psychologist and earned a Masters degree from Cleveland State University and a Ph.D. from Kent State University.

Andy Plyler

Andy Plyler has joined aftermarket leader Tracer (www.tracercorp.com) as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Most recently he has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Exostar, a B2B marketplace that was founded by Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, BAE Systems, and Raytheon. Previously, Plyler was director of E-Business for Honeywell Aerospace Services. Previous experience includes management positions at BFGoodrich Aerospace and Delta Air Lines. Andy is a thought leader and innovator within e-commerce and the successful application of internet technology across a myriad of business processes.

Andy graduated from Kennesaw State University in Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in management. He has been a member of APICS-The Educational Society for Resource Management since 1989 and is a Board member of the Everett Community College Foundation Board.
